Just a Delivery Job

  • Indecisionist Productions Chicago, IL, 60641 United States (map)
A small frontier town in a pine forest is buried under the snow with a single track of whell treads betraying where the town's main road sits. The overlay text reads, "Just a Delivery Job" D&D 5e One Shot | level 3 a low level adventure in a snowy...

A game in the D&D5E system, led by Rayne.

In this one shot you play as mercenaries or adventurers hired to guard a caravan of spice traders as they travel through the Chelemi Taiga. This snowy forest is known to be dangerous, but nothing experienced travelers such as yourselves can’t handle. However, things take a turn for the eerie as you find your destination devoid of all life. If you can find out what happened to the townsfolk, maybe you’ll actually get paid for this job.

This game will be great if you like Pitch Black, The Mummy, Etc...

Players should build characters ahead of time.

  • 5E | Level 3 Characters | Use either point-buy or standard array for attributes.

  • Any ancestry, class, or multiclass is fine.

  • Build a character that is working as a caravan guard. You’ve been hired to help a group of spice traders make it through snowy woods known for wolves and bandits.

  • Assume that as adventures you’ve been able to purchase any armor or standard adventuring equipment worth no more than 50gp. And any standard weapon, except for a greatsword or maul.

  • For spell casters: assume that you have the material components needed to cast the spells you’ve chosen. If this is a consumable component worth more than 50gp, assume that you have enough for one casting.

  • Please pick 1 magic item or weapon of common rarity. https://www.dndbeyond.com/magic-items

This game will be great for new players.

This game will lean a little on the serious side and balance combat with role play.

The game will be hosted on the con’s Discord server in room #2 and spectators are welcome.

CW: Rated PG13 for some horror elements and fantasy violence.
