“The Rainslick Murders” is a Standard One Shot/ Playtest session of Cards. Led by Ansel Burch
A noir-style game of cat and mouse plays out when those with nothing to lose discover that there's one thing they'd wager the only thing they've got left to get.
The Cloister is less of a neighborhood and more of a hive. People have built the city of today on the ruins of yesterday leaving plenty of the past poking through at the margins. It's an area both protected and excluded from the business of the rest of the city, leaving its denizens to get up to all manner of dealings in the hidden alleys, tunnels, and bridges that defy any attempt at mapping or organization.
This game will be good if you like film noir, fictionalized cities, and playing someone who walks on the dark side.
We will build characters in the session.

“Wherewolves?” A Standard One Shot and Playtest using the Dialect rules. Led by Ansel Burch
"The loup garou have always kept to themselves, on the edges of the community, forming camps and packs of their own in hopes to save the uninfected from the ravages of their condition and its spread. The discovery of asymptomatic carriers though, came with a whole new challenge.
How will we make a new community for ourselves in the primeval forests and how will it change us and the way we use language? "

“Newsies' Revenge” a Standard One Shot in the DnD 5E system. Led by Rayne Bakcheious
The town of Verdigris is the finest city on the island continent of Eleri, a shining-green jewel of the empire. It’s ruled by the founder of the city, Entrócenite the Eternal, an ancient emerald dragon. The Emeralden Emperor is the last of his kind but continues to watch over the city and share the gift of magic with the guilds of Verdigres.
This city is full of stories, but this one starts with a group of young newsies. This summer your group of friends has been lucky enough to get a job delivering newspapers for your neighborhood. But times they are a changing, and when a wizard-run company that delivers by crystalline construct opens up across the street -- your little operation just can’t keep up.
If you and your friends don’t do something quick, your source of spending money is about to disappear.
This game will be great if you like Little Rascals, The Sandlot, The Goonies, etc... Players should build characters ahead.
Use point-buy or standard array for stat generation.
Any officially published content for classes, feats, etc is fine. Permanent flying features excluded. Non-licensed content needs to be run by me, (screenshot is probably fine) just don’t do it the night before the game.
Forbidden Ancenstries: Aasimar, Centaur, Changeling, Dragonborne, Elves (all), Fairy, Ginazi, Gith(zerai), Minotaur, Plasmoid, Satyr, Shifter, Thri-kreen, Triton.
Your character needs to be a child working a newsie and/or newspaper delivery. You live in one of the poorer districts of the city, and this job should be important to you in some way.
You have 30g to purchase any armor, standard weapon, or standard adventuring equipment you want during character creation. Any gold not spent at creation cannot be kept in your inventory.
For spellcasters: if the spell components you need have no price, assume that you have them. Otherwise, you must factor this into your 30g to spend.
If you have any backstory notes, please let me know. Please send me a copy of (or link to) your character sheet at least 2 days before we play. "

“Raptor Peak: The Glover's Son” a Standard One Shot/ West Marches Style Adventure in the D&D 5E system. Led by Ansel Burch
"The great playwright Jeremy Wiglessyc has traveled all the way from the Dzigora plains to see the latest staging of his play, "Some of Them Make it This Time" which is billed as a comedy in academic circles. It is a broad, sweeping epic requiring truly heroic efforts on the part of the cast to both endure the length of the performance and the demands of the plot. So, when a terrible accident befalls the entire cast, will a group of unrehearsed adventurers be able to fill their shoes?
Join me in abusing the rules of D&D to an absurd extent in this madcap adventure of theatrical proportions.
This game will be great if you like plays, playing, bullshit.
Players should build level 13 characters ahead.

CW: Mature Players only (Age 21+) - this will be a VERY violent gory horror game based on 1970's / early 80's video nasties and is NOT for the faint of heart. Characters will die horrible gruesome deaths in the game as they battle for survival, and there is likely to be some Player vs. Player combat especially at the end.

Do not choose weapons or magic items, those will be picked up in-game.
The game will lean into fantasy tropes, but your character could come from anywhere and anytime.

Darkest Dungeon Crawl Classics
A game in the Dungeon Crawl Classics system led by Mihailo Tešić.
The news of the Lord Ancestor's passing has spread fast and wide. His lands, once fecund and populated, are now shrouded in almost perpetual darkness, his rich fields and forests now travesty of unnatural overgrowth, his smallfolk turned to brigands or worse. Stories tell of the dead restless in their graves, of beasts acquiring the faculties of men, and of horrible secrets buried deep underneath the lonely Ancestor's mansion, which still stands there, perched on a ledge overlooking the moors and dark waters of the lake. But stories also tell of Ancestor's incredible magic and his vast treasures, now scattered across his vast holdings - and of an heir who has emerged to reclaim them. And all the stories, news and gossip agree on one point: the heir needs heroes noble, adventurers intrepid or bravos foolhardy enough to venture into the Darkest Dungeons!
If you know the video game Darkest Dungeon, you know what this is. If you know DCC, this mashup features 15 new classes, all from the basic video game, and rules for stress, light and inventor, to evoke the feel. And monsters. Lots of them.

That was before. There's no way to keep this one under wraps. Small poisonous creatures have begun infiltrating the city from the forests. They mostly come out at night and all anyone knows is that they glow in the dark. This game is for 5th level characters. You should build your characters ahead if you are able. You may use either standard array or rolled (Roll 4, Keep 3: 7 times drop the lowest). Your characters should come into the session with four magic items: one "common", two "uncommon" and one "rare". A list is available here: https://www.dndbeyond.com/magic-items.
