"Did you ever want to be a superhero? Today's your day! Join the young teenage superheroes known as Team Daybreak 😄 Play as decisive Headlong, ambitious Rockstar, supportive Muse, cosmic Aeon Girl or ghostly Muerto in the Sentinel Comics RPG!
In this system, you creatively combine your superpowers with your ordinary qualities to try and be the best heroes you can be while living up to your principles. The Sentinel Comics RPG uses its own GYRO system, which focuses on quick comic book style action, where teamwork is key and where your hero becomes more powerful as the situation gets more dire and twists get thrown your way!
Our adventure is called Battle of the Bands, where Rockstar has been invited to play as the opening act for a new band called Helfyre. But what is meant to be a fun concert quickly takes a bad turn. Now it's up to team Daybreak to try and save the day! Play to find out if they succeed 😮
Battle of the Bands is a fairly lighthearted scenario, but there are still real things at stake. Being a new team of young inexperienced heroes, victory is not guaranteed! While the Sentinel Comics RPG takes place in the same universe as their matching boardgame, it's an alternate timeline so no familiarity is needed. Being a brand new team, there is no elaborate world lore you'll need, just be excited to play a teenage superhero and jump right in :D
Like all the games I run, I will teach you everything you need to know as we play! For those who prefer reading ahead or reading along when being taught, a short rules reference will also be provided.

“Dad Overboard” a Standard One Shot in the Brindlewood Bay system. Led by Nona de Koning
<b><u>BRINDLEWOOD BAY </u></b> is a roleplaying game about a group of elderly women—members of the local Murder Mavens mystery book club—who find themselves solving actual murder mysteries in their quaint New England town. <b>There is no canon solution to the mysteries, instead players must collect and piece together many different clues and come up with a convincing theory, then play to find out if they are right!</b>
This evening, just as their book club meeting is ending, the Mavens are approached by Brindlewood County’s chief law enforcement officer, Sheriff Wyman Dalrymple. He tells them that, several nights ago, a wealthy financier, Albert Krause, was dragged out of the bay, dead. Mr. Krause and his family were on a yachting vacation and their boat is presently anchored a quarter mile from shore. Those on the boat assert Mr. Krause was drunk and simply fell overboard, but Sheriff Dalrymple suspects foul play. He hasn’t been able to turn anything up and begrudgingly asks them for help. Time for the Mavens to bring out their amateur inner detectives once again!
There are some supernatural elements in play in the background, but those will need to be uncovered through repeated plays and aren't a part of this oneshot. There is also a meta level to the setting, where the Mavens are actually characters in a TV show that the players are watching. <b>If there is enough interest in it, the gamerunner is willing to offer this system at future cons in a West-Marches approach where both of these elements will feature more prominently.</b>"

“Kobold Endeavor” a Standard One Shot in the Kobold Endeavor system. Led by Rayne Bakcheious
You are a kobold, a scrawny dragonling whelp, and you have been tasked by the capricious and cruel MIGHTY DRAGON KING to sneak into a rival dragon’s hoard and steal as much loot as you possibly can in order to win favour. The problem is, you’re terrible at everything - except creating distractions. Can you stack up enough distractions to get in, get the treasure, and get out alive? Probably not.

After years of plaguing the Spanish crown, The Siren's Storm and its pirate crew have been captured by Captain Alonso Calvo of the Spanish Navy. Their daring captain, Marina Perez, is sentenced for a prompt show trial and execution within the week. The rest of the crew lies awaiting their fate, split up across a large and damp dungeon, facing potential sentences ranging from a few years' servitude to death. Unless... what if there was a way out? Surely if they put their minds and swords together, they could escape, rescue their captain, and steal back their ship!

Your life as a sailor on The Salty Dog hasn’t been easy, but it’s not been without its good points. There’s been song, camaraderie, and all the loot you can smuggle along with the hardships. But a sad day has dawned for your crew; your beloved Captain fell ill in your last port and died before you could get him to a good cleric.
His last request of the crew was to bring his body home for burial on the family plot.
This game will be great if you like Pirates of the Caribbean, Or Flag Means Death, Pirates.
Players should build level 3 characters ahead.
Use point-buy or standard array for stat generation.
Any officially published content for classes, feats, ancestries, etc is fine. Permanent flying features excluded. (Non-official content needs to be run by me before the game.)

You live by your luck, your smarts, your bravery. With your friends by your side, you will abandon the warmth and safety of the mouse settlements and venture forth into the dark and dangerous places where other mice do not dare to tread. There is great wealth to be found by those that are willing to take it.
It's a huge and dangerous world out there. It does not look kindly on a small mouse. But if you are very brave and very clever and just a bit lucky, you might be able to survive. And if you survive long enough, you might even become a hero amongst mice."

"Your life as a sailor on The Salty Dog hasn’t been easy, but it’s not been without its good points. There’s been song and camaraderie and all the loot you can smuggle along with the hardships. But a sad day has dawned for your crew; your beloved Captain fell ill in your last port and died before you could get him to a good cleric.
His last request of the crew was just to bring his body home for burial on the family plot.

Things have really picked up at Raptor Peak in the last few years with the addition of a new inn, a Dragon Festival, and now a real Frost Giant King in the mountain to add a souvenir-picture-worthy encounter with danger. This means the stakes for a successful tourist season have gotten that much higher. The Town's rotary club has called once again for adventurers brave enough to help with a problem on the lakefront. Booze cruises masquerading as fishing trips have long been a staple of trips to the peak. So, any problem with those crystal clear waters must be handled quick!

Many ages ago, a temple devoted to Deneir (a god of Art, Literature, and Scholarly pursuits) was raised on a small island at the center of a picturesque lake. It was hastily abandoned by its adherents when the island was hit by a freak storm. Several years have passed, and the Elevated Sages of Deneir would like their temple back! They’ve hired you to re-consecrate the temple and “deal with” anything that may have moved in since the temple’s abandonment. Should be simple enough… right?

The Secret of Silent Lake
A game run in the D&D5e ruleset, led by Rayne Whitington.
In this one-shot, you’ll play as members of The Red Hand Adventuring League. Your guild is frequently contracted to kill various beasts or bring back treasures from treacherous dungeons—it’s nice work if you can get it. For this mission, your team is being contracted by the island of Midar. This peaceful community has recently been plagued by a series of disappearances around one of their most sacred locations: Silent Lake. This secluded lake is said to be the resting place of a long-dead god. If you can figure out what’s causing this and put a stop to it, you and your guild will be paid handsomely.
This game will be great if you like The Mummy, Pitch Black, or just the general idea of creepy things being in deep water.

Ziggurat of the Mega-Maiden - The Blackest Night Edition (Beta testing)
A game in the Dungeon Crawl Classics (DCC) system, led by Christophor Rick.
It's 2 minutes to midnight and you stand at the foot of a massive ziggurat. At the top, the Demon Seed is the center of a ritual that will bring the Wrathchild into this world. They will either enslave, or destroy it. The Mega-Maiden is acting as a surrogate mother for this abomination and you must stop the ritual before it is too late. This adventure was published by 2OG Games in 2020, but this is beta testing of a darker, deadlier version called, The Blackest Night Edition.
This game will be great if you like Pan's Labyrinth, Maleficent, The Dark Crystal or Legend. For music it's the hellspawn of Iron Maiden, Megadeth, Metallica and Black Sabbath.
