“Lucid Dreaming” is a Standard one-shot in the Dreampunk system. Led by Nona de Koning.
At night, you dream. Your dreams are not idle imaginings, but visits to a persistent world of wonders and dangers both personal and alien. Will you find power there? Will you find freedom? Or will you slowly slip into Entanglement, and be trapped there forever? Play to find out!
Dreampunk is a PbtA-style game that uses a deck of surreal cards to encourage an improvisational style for inspiring challenges and obstacles. It actively involves both the GM and the players in this process! Rather than the numerical randomness of dice, it uses these cards as both creativity prompts and a resource to power your special abilities. Your character is a Dreamer, someone from a waking world who is drawn to the Dream when they sleep. As a Dreamer, you have powerful abilities to shape the world around you. To do so, you must incorporate elements from surreal art cards into your action using an element of your choice from that card. Lean into dream logic and find out all that your imagination makes possible!
Characters should be created ahead of time with guidance from the GM. The GM will also provide art cards, but if you prefer, you may use your own deck from Dixit, Mysterium, Everway, or a similar game, as long as you can upload images of your drawn cards to a shared virtual whiteboard.
This game will be great if you like PbtA, card resolution mechanics, Belonging Outside Belonging, Dixit, Mysterium, Everway, tarot, art, interpreting images, dream logic, and collaborative storytelling.
New players are welcome. Players need to have played some RPGs. The game runner is new to this system, but very familiar with PbtA and the board games the game was inspired by.

“Mythology: How The City Got Saved” a Standard One Shot in The Ultimate Micro-RPG Book system. Led by Nona de Koning.
Any journey can become a legend! Make up your own campfire story, myth or fairytale in Mythology. It's a GMless storytelling game where everyone collaborates to tell a new tale inspired by the images on a whimsical deck of tarot cards. Players make up their characters by mixing several cards, then take turns drawing cards to set up the initiating event and obstacles for other players to tackle. Together everyone will weave the story of a new legend and discover how the city got saved! No knowledge of tarot cards is needed and we'll use a non-traditional deck of images to inspire us. Mythology is part of The Ultimate Micro-RPG Book, an anthology of 2-page games. This means it's very rules-light and very easy to learn, but players should be comfortable using their own imagination without many rules to hold on to. This game will be great if you like collaborative storytelling, mythology, legends, fairytales, interpreting images and/or tarot.
We'll create characters together at the start of the game.

“Break Room: After The City Is Saved” a Standard One Shot in The Ultimate Micro-RPG Book system. Led by Nona de Koning.
Saving the city is hard and tiring work. Right now we're at the headquarters of our superhero team after a long day of heroics. And really? Everyone just wants to go home. Break Room is a game about one-upping your coworkers. In this short GMless comedic storytelling game, each player comes up with their own superhero employee. Then everyone takes turns convincing the other players AND characters why they are the ones who deserve to go home early today! You can Rant, Gush, Dish or even Throwdown to get your way. After three rounds that get shorter and shorter as your break ticks down, one character will emerge victorious and gets to go home early! Break Room is part of The Ultimate Micro-RPG Book, an anthology of 2-page games.
